Since 1984, F.G. Cosmetics has brought Italian excellence to the world, transforming a small artisan workshop into a benchmark in professional cosmetics.
The very name — F.G., standing for Famiglia Gornati — embodies the authentic spirit of a project founded on trust, unity, and solid values.
That family vision became our foundation: from craftsmanship we have grown to achieve industrial excellence, without ever compromising on quality or ethics.

Today, under the leadership of Raffaella Gornati, the second generation at the helm, F.G. Cosmetics continues its journey guided by clear principles: sustainability, transparency, and innovation.

Since November 2023, we have officially become a Benefit Corporation, because for us doing business means creating well-being — not only economic, but also social, environmental, and relational.

2024 marked a historic milestone: 40 years of activity and the recognition as an Innovative SME, confirming our commitment to scientific research, green technologies, and the enhancement of human capital.

In 2025, we crowned this path with B Corp Certification, an international recognition of our positive impact and alignment between values and actions.

We are an ethical, natural, and sustainable manufacturing company — capable of combining cosmetic innovation with respect for both skin and the environment.

OUR HISTORY
1984
Mr. Giovanni Gornati founded F.G. Cosmetics, inspired by values of artisanal quality, family ethics, and respect for the skin and the environment.
1999
Start of international export activities, opening new markets and promoting the value of Made in Italy.
2012
Achievement of UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, ensuring quality and continuous improvement of company processes.
2014
Achievement of UNI EN ISO 22716:2008 certification, attesting compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
2016
Raffaella Gornati takes over as sole owner and CEO, inaugurating a new phase of growth and consolidation.
2018
Launch of a reformulation process inspired by greener principles, with the self-certification “Il BIO che scelgo io” (“The Organic Choice I Make”).
2023
Transformation into a Benefit Corporation.
Patent no. D000019903 granted for an AI algorithm.
2024
Recognition as an Innovative SME.
Launch of Marzia CosmeticsLAB, a new company division dedicated to contract manufacturing.
Achievement of the following certifications: CertiESG (AA Rating), UNI EN ISO 56002:2021, SA 8000:2014, Legality Rating ★★+, VeganOK Excellence.
